This report analyses the demand for foreign languages worldwide, as reported by multiple sources, stakeholders, education agents and, indirectly, by their customers. The main objective was to provide a snapshot of the current market size and characteristics of the language travel industry (languageFile Size: 1MB. This paper examines the research needs relating to the use of foreign languages in tourism activities in Australia and New Zealand.
